Happy Birthday, Haylea

Haylea, Brent's daughter, turned 4 yesterday and her birthday party this past Saturday was part of our fun-filled weekend. Her party was at Going Bonkers in Lewisville, Tx and since Slone and I had time to spare on the way we stopped and watched planes take off from the DFW airport. It was super windy so we didn't stay long but it was cool to just hang out for a minute and watch kids getting excited when planes flew over us.

She got a Ken barbie doll that everyone joked looked like her dad :)

We hardly get to see Miss Haylea because we live far from each other but I know she still loves me because right before this picture was snapped she threw her little arm around my neck and pulled my face close to hers! It was super sweet! She has such a personality on her for a 4 year old.

Happy Birthday, Miss Priss! Slone and I love you!

To top off the day, Slone and I met the Fearings at the "usual" spot, Joe T Garcia's. We got there earlier than expected, so we walked around the Stockyards beforehand. The weather was perfect and it was a great way to top off the day! Pics to follow.

WhAt A wEeKeNd !

I thought we would spend this weekend relaxing and recovering from my mom and sis being here. Instead, we had a fun-filled Friday night and alllll day Saturday!

Friday night I went with Jill and Grandmother to support Stacy's fundraiser at Rodeo City Music Hall in Mesquite, Tx. There was some fun talent there and everyone seemed to have a great time. Jill even performed some of her own songs! The fundraiser was held to raise money for scholarships to attend Pathways. Stacy recently completed classes through this program and we are so happy that she was able to go through it! We have enjoyed keeping the K man on the weekends that she has to be away. Here is a link to find out more about Pathways and how you may be able to benefit from what it has to offer http://www.createagreatlife.org/

These two cowboys are trouble if I've ever seen it! ;)

Housewarming Party!

Friday we shopped for flowers and planted them that afternoon. Reagan put together my bird feeder and I'm still waiting on them to come eat :)

Reagan setting up the cupcakes and goodies for the party

I must say these were delish!

Thanks for the tulips, Stacy!

"Let's move this conversation to the couch" ;)

The little guys had fun playing baseball with each other

It was hard to get all of the pictures I wanted of everyone just because I wanted to be able to talk to everyone at the same time! It was an awesome day and I'm so thankful to my mom and sis for all their help. We have really worked hard on the house since moving in and I'm just still so thankful for what the Lord has given us.

Thanks to everyone that came out to share this fun day with us! Hopefully grilling out and game night is soon to follow :)

Happy Birthday, JoJo!

I love you so much mom and already miss you! I hope you have an awesome birthday!

I heart Spring Break!

Spring Break always means my mom and sister make a trip to Texas and I absolutely cherish this time with them! I took off while they were here and we shopped and shopped! From clothes to things for the house we were all over the place. :)

Wednesday night - first stop, Joe T's!! Mom always wants to eat here when she's in town. Who can blame her?

We ALL forgot our good cameras! : /

Thursday night - Arlington Baptist College played at the Rangers Stadium and we went and enjoyed the game in some awesome weather

Look at mom peeking in between us! We laughed so hard at that!

We shopped in downtown Mansfield at a few boutiques and stopped in Frosted Pink to get some cupcakes. Irish Cream on the left for St. Patty's Day and German Chocolate on the right - Yumm!
