Happy Easter from the Stockyards Hotel

This Easter we went to church and heard a great message from Pastor Randy and then went to eat in the Stockyards. Grandmother took us to the Stockyards Hotel where her grandfather used to stay when he went to Fort Worth to sell cattle. There are many cool stories that I hear often about Slone's family and it was neat to visit where his great-great grandfather used to do business. The hotel is beautiful and I would have never thought to go in and walk around. This picture is in the restaurant in the hotel and the bar stools are saddles - how cool is that?! (That's what Grandmother is sitting on!)

Braxton boo at almost 19 months. He normally will count with you but today I guess he wanted to practice 10!

Less zzzzz's on Saturday'zzzzzz

We are known for sleeping in until about noon on Saturdays. I must say that ever since we've bought the house, we are up pretty early on Saturdays and doing something productive around the house. When I was in high school, I would absolutely hate the sound of neighbors cutting grass and weed-eating their front yards on a Saturday morning! And when my own dad did it, it was even worse because I would hear it right outside my window. : /
I've gotten quite use to it now and enjoy seeing my sweet hubby out in our yard making it look pretty.
