Last Saturday we attending Shea and Lauren's wedding. Everything was beautiful and they had great music and entertainment at the reception in downtown Ft Worth. Congrats, friends!

DIY Saturday with the girls

Last Saturday we had a girls/guys social day for our Sunday school class. The guys played flag football and went to the Bennett's to watch college football and the girls went to breakfast and back to the Lawrence's to have a DIY day. We all decided to make a wreath and Jalah sent us an awesome website that showcased a ton of wreaths made out of everything imaginable!

The rest of the girls made coffee filter wreaths and they turned out so lovely. I want to make a few of these for the house around Christmas time!

I think Kristen's turned out so lovely. The subtle hints of pink make it so vintage!

It was such a fun day with the girls and I don't think I would have sat down to do this without them around. It was much more fun at Jalah's dining room table. Next up for me is to change the fabric on the kitchen chairs we have. I think I'm going to wait until next month to do that. I'll post pics of that fun process later!

Rangers On-Field Experience

Since we were the champions in kickball during the first season, we won tickets to the game and an on-field experience to watch batting practice last Friday night. The game was awesome and I told Slone that baseball was my new favorite sport. It's a clean environment, fun atmosphere and I think the comradery among baseball players is much higher than any other sport.
