Saturday night the Marketing team headed to the Dr. Pepper ballpark for a Roughriders game. I love that stadium and the atmosphere!

Slone and I got a wild hair yesterday and drove to Memphis, TN to catch the OK NC game. My mom and her friend met us there and it was tons of fun. Would you believe that I forgot my camera?! The one thing that I almost never leave the house without? Nonetheless, we had a great road trip and we have decided to do it more often! :) These pictures are courtesy of Slone's iPhone and my mom's camera - thanks!

Home Is Where The Heart Is

I'm back from Nashville and Slone is home from Kansas City. The Rams lost in the second round so they are done for the season. They worked hard and hopefully there will be a different outcome next year!!

Texas Wesleyan Rams

Slone's team is on their way to the National Tournament in 8 days! They were named National Champions in 2006, and my hope is that they can do it again this year. Their coach was recently named Coach of the Year! He has done a great job with them this season and they were on an 18 game winning streak up until last night. They suffered a loss from Jarvis Christian College in the Championship game. It was hard to see them lose, but I have faith they will show up in Kansas City with their game faces on and ready to kick some butt! The Rams had already secured an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament by winning the RRAC Regular Season Championship. That tournament will be held in Kansas City, MO, March 18-24.

He's going to Hollywood!

Texas Power had a Hollywood themed going away party for Brent last Friday. It was tons of fun and Brent definitely put on a show! Texas Power will miss you!!
