Thank you for voting on the poll. The answer to the question "How many stones did David pick up to kill Goliath?" was 5 ! See if you can guess the answer to this week's! :)
Lord thank you for the gift of marriage. You have blessed us more than we can imagine and I am grateful daily to be able to experience what love is. To imagine that your love for us is greater than our love for each other is unimaginable! Please help us to stay on the path of righteousness and always keep our hearts pure for Jesus. Thank you for all that you have done and all that you will continue to do. Amen

This is our Godson, Kaegan Lagerquist. His mommy and daddy are Stacy and Ron Lagerquist. Stacy is Slone's aunt that lives in Canada. She came to visit us ol' Texans before she started back to work and we have had so much fun since the day she got here! From cooking out at Grandfather's to swimming at our house, we enjoyed every minute that we got to spend with them. It was such an honor when Stacy asked us to be Kaegan's God parents. We value that greatly and just love little Kaegan and his awesome personality. Grandmother has tried to get him to take some of our Texas twang back home and he now says, "Howdy Ya'll!" He's so fun to be around. :) Your family is in our prayers and we can't wait until you come back!
Thanks for coming over to watch the fireworks with me! I'm glad I had you and Heather there to enjoy them with. The boys missed out!
Slone made Jon his "specialty" wrap on the grill. Jon was a very happy camper :)
The fireworks on Lake Arlington were beautiful! We were able to watch the whole show from our balcony. Although the pictures are blurry, the show was wonderful and can't wait for next year's.
This photo is so unlike Slone. I don't know what got into him! It looks as if we are about to tango but if you know Slone, that will never happen! Ha! He's such a good sport when it comes to being forced to take pictures :)
On July 3, Lake Arlington hosted a fireworks show and Slone and I decided to make that our first hosting party. It was very small and consisted of people from work. There was a TexasPower softball game the same night at 8:30 and needless to say, the softball players missed the show! They couldn't beat the traffic into the community and had to watch them from the street.
We did have fun hanging out once everyone arrived at the house, and thanks to the Fearings, I had company to watch the show with me. :) Afterwards, we went swimming and called it a night!
We began our journey in November 1998. Through many years of being together, and being separated at times, the Lord brought us back together for good on December 29, 2007. We said our vows on that winter day and have been on this adventure called love ever since! In the words of my husband, "God is good and will always provide." He has certainly provided an awesome best friend for me.
